The Scriptures
We believe that the 66 books of the Bible are the written Word of God and that it is the infallible, inspired, inerrant Word of the living God throughout. The Bible is without error (2 Tim 3:16;2 Pet 1:21). Its assertions are factually true in all the original autographs. It is the supreme authority in everything it teaches. Its authority is not limited to spiritual, religious, or redemptive themes but includes its assertions in such fields as history and science.
The final guide to the interpretation of Scripture is Scripture itself, and that Scripture is our final authority. No apparent, perceived or claimed evidence in any field, including history and chronology, can be valid if it contradicts scripture.
Creation
We believe that man was created directly by God and in His image. We believe that God created the heavens and the earth, including all life, by direct act in six literal twenty-four hour days about 6,000 years ago (Gen 1:1; John 1:3; Col 1:16-17).
The simple but factual account of origins as presented in Genesis provides a reliable frame work for scientific research into the question of the origin and history of life, mankind, the earth and the universe.
The various original life forms (kinds), including mankind, were made by direct creative acts of God. The living descendants of any of the original kinds (apart from man) may represent more than one species today, reflecting the genetic potential with the original kind. Only limited biological changes (including mutational deterioration) have occurred naturally within each kind since Creation. All basic types of living things, including man, were made by direct creative acts of God during the Creation week described in Genesis. Whatever biological changes have occurred since Creation week have been accomplished only changes within the original created kinds.
The existence of God as creator is evident in his creation (Romans 1:18-22).
All compromising Christian theories concerning creation such as theistic evolution, progressive creationism, intermittent day theory1, the gap theory, the day-age theory, and the pictorial (literary-framework) theory2 are opposed and are considered false. Evolution is a false religion.
We also oppose the notion of Prehistoric. This is a recent term used to promote the idea of “before written history” in order to enforce the existence of ancient man, cave men and old fossils (such as dinosaurs) that supposedly predates the Biblical account of creation.
The Flood
We believe that the great Flood in the days of Noah was a literal worldwide flood exactly as recorded in Genesis 6-8. It is an actual historic event, worldwide (global) in its extent and effect. This occurred about 4,4000 years ago that covered all land, including the highest mountains on earth.
The Noachian Flood was a significant geological event and much (but not all) fossiliferous sediment originated at that time.
Scientific foreknowledge in the Bible
There are many scientific facts in the Bible that weren’t discovered by modern science until many hundreds or thousands of years after they appeared in the scriptures. The 66 books of the Bible were written approximately between 1,500 B.C. and 90 A.D. Theology
We believe in the one true and living God: one God, three Persons—God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is infinite, eternal, and unchangeable.
Although the first man, Adam, and the first woman, Eve, were created in the image of God, their fall into sin is the basis for the necessity of salvation for mankind. Death, both physical and spiritual entered into this world subsequent to and as a direct consequence of man’s sin. This is true of all men; and all men are sinners, inherently from Adam and individually by choice and are therefore subject to God’s wrath and condemnation.
Except a man be born again by the Holy Spirit, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (Gen 1:26-27; John3:3; Rom 3:10-23)
We believe that Satan is a person, the author of sin, a liar and the father of lies, and the reason forthe fall of man, and is destined to the judgment of an eternal punishment in the lake of fire. He is the personal spiritual adversary of both God and man. (Matt 4:1-3; Acts 5:3; 2 Cor 4:4; John 8:44; Rev20:10). Satan is the personal spiritual adversary of both God and mankind.
Salvation is a gift received by faith alone in Christ alone and expressed in the individual’s repentance, recognition of the death of Christ as full payment for sin, and acceptance of the risen Christ as Saviour, Lord, and God. Salvation cannot be gained or made more secure by meritorious works, but is freely bestowed upon all who put their faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ at Calvary. All who so trust the Saviour are forgiven of their sins and born into the family of God by the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit.
The only legitimate marriage is the joining of one man and one woman. Any forms of homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, incest, fornication, adultery, pornography are sinful perversions of God’s gift of sex (Leviticus 18:22, Leviticus 20:13, Romans 1:26-27, Colossians 3:5, 1 Thessalonians 4:3, ).
The Great Commission
Until the return of Christ, it is the Christian’s duty and privilege to seek the fulfilment of Christ’s Great Commission and to minister in His name to a needy world. We are to be instruments of Jesus Christ as the Holy Spirit ministers redemption and reconciliation in the world. (Matt 25:31-46; Matt 28:18-20)

But the command in Exodus 20:8-11 would seem to lose its significance unless all of God’s creative activity took place within a period of six continuous days

Therefore, it regards the creation as more a matter of logical structuring than of chronological order. Either God’s revelation to Moses (believed to be the editor of Genesis) came in a series of six pictures, or Moses arranged the material in a logical grouping which took the form of six periods. Again, if this interpretation is true then the command to rest on the Sabbath (Ex 20:8-10) after the six day creation, would seem pointless.
